Verus Celebrates Diwali

Last week, the Verus team gathered to celebrate Diwali. The festival of Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. This year’s celebration was more meaningful because it was our first celebration since Covid. Verus first started celebrating Diwali in 2009 and it has always been a tradition every employee looks forward to every year! This year’s festivities included the company partners each lighting diyas, dressing up, rangoli making, candle art, mandala crafts, lighting sparklers and firecrackers, and enjoying the delicious assortment of traditional Indian dishes and desserts. The celebration of Diwali always brings so much happiness and positivity to our work environment and we look forward to many more celebrations!
