Verus LLC Announces Four New Hires to Support Growth of Its Mass Tort Litigation Support Services

Verus LLC has announced four key new hires to meet the growing demand for the firm’s mass tort litigation support services. Specifically, Mariya Goliyad, Victoria Murphy, Tasha Patel and Lee Anna Will have joined Verus. The announcement comes on the heels of the firm’s recent opening of a second location, a 1,900-s.f. office located in Morrisville, Pa, which supports Verus’ operations, group trainings and team meetings.

Mariya Goliyad joins Verus as an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer, where she will provide research, planning and design, and create prototypes for new concepts and ideas utilizing AI and machine learning algorithms. As a software development and applied mathematics analyst, Goliyad has extensive experience developing commercial software for the telecom industry, as well as a scientific researcher of applied mathematics and numerical analysis. She earned an M.S., with honors, from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Victoria Hwang-Murphy joins Verus as a Client Relations Manager, responsible for all aspects of the client experience, with a focus on customer satisfaction, project management and client retention. Her experience as a class actions/mass torts attorney with Wilentz, Goldman, & Spitzer and as a litigator at McLaughlin & Nardi gives her a law-firm-client perspective to her role at Verus. A class actions/mass torts attorney formerly with such firms as Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer and McLaughlin & Nardi, Hwang-Murphy brings a law-firm-client perspective to her role at Verus.  Most recently, she was a client manager at Thomson Reuters, consulting with law firms in New Jersey. In addition to a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, she earned a B.A. from Northwestern University.

Tasha Patel joins Verus as a Data Analyst, where she will research and develop statistical valuation and forecasting models, analyze data to identify trends, process data from a variety of sources, and as part of the data analytics team at Verus, will work with IT and other partners to enhance Verus’ data analytics capabilities. She joins the company from Spectramedix, where she was a data analyst. Patel earned an M.S. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a B.A. from Rutgers University – Newark.

Lee Anna Will, PMP & LBBP, joins Verus as Head of Project Management and Process Improvement, responsible for managing cross-functional projects that assist the company in meeting client needs. Additionally, Will’s role involves advocating for continuous process improvement with regard to products, services, or processes by reducing waste and/or increasing quality.  A certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Will is also Lean Process Certified.  She has managed large-scale corporate initiatives and served in project management roles for over a decade.  Most recently, Will was a managing director of portfolio and project management for The Institutes, where she was responsible for the centralized management of the processes, methods, and technologies used to analyze and collectively manage current or proposed projects. She earned a B.S. from Millersville University.
